The Spread Her Wings Foundation is dedicated to empowering young girls in Denver and Aurora by exposing them to new life experiences that will encourage them to form a cohesive and supportive group who help each other prepare for college and become leaders in their communities.

 

About Piper Billups

 

Piper Billups is a true Denver native. She grew up in Northeast Denver for the first 10 years of her life and moved to Southeast Denver until she graduated from High School. Piper grew up in the Denver Public School Systems and graduated from George Washington High School in June 1994. She went on to graduate from Metro State College of Denver in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing.

While living in Detroit, Piper was a big supporter of the Children’s Center and Cornerstone Schools. After moving around for the last 8 years, she is very happy to be back in her hometown and is dedicated to helping young girls in the inner city.

She is married to Denver Nuggets All-Star Chauncey Billups who she has known since high school. She believes that her most important job is raising their 3 daughters, Cydney, Ciara and Cenaiya.

Piper would like to give girls from the inner city opportunities and exposure to different aspects of life that they may not otherwise get to experience.
